Desert Tourism Lumped Under One Banner

From Palm Springs, through Palm Desert to Indio and Coachella, desert tourism has a new brand name.

The latest marketing vision for tourism in the Coachella Valley was unveiled on Tuesday.

"lumped" is not the best word to describe the new PS CVB branding our valley The word(s) "united" or "brought together" are more descriptive and accurate of what the PS CVB has done. Reporters..... don't be in a hurry to use just any word.

I chose that word carefully. Are the other desert cities losing their identities simply because Palm Springs is a marketable brand name? Editorial on that very topic is coming this weekend.
