Rep. Juan Vargas (D-Chula Vista) grabbed some duct tape for marriage equality in Washington, D.C. recently. Vargas was one of 67 members of Congress to pose in third annual NOH8 On The Hill campaign.

Vargas was joined by Rep. Scott Peters (D-San Diego), Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Beverly Hills) and 13 other members of Congress from California.

NOH8 Campaign co-founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley released the photos on Monday, just as the Supreme Court is due to deliver its decisions the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8.

“Laws that create second-class citizens and breed discrimination have no place in our country,” Rep. Vargas said in a statement. "I am proud to have participated in the NoH8 campaign and am optimistic that soon all people will be treated equally before the law."
