Border Angels Migrant March
Border Angels are holding a five-day event to recognize the struggle of migrant workers.
Migrant March is a five-day event organized by The Border Angels that started Wednesday with the Trail of Tears, a walk from Friendship Park to the end of Dairy Mart Road commemorating the lives of migrants who died in waterways around the world.
The march was followed with a press conference and vigil on both sides of the border.
The "Trail of Tears" continues with a 20-mile walk through the desert near Calexico Saturday and 13-mile walk to the Calexico/Mexicali border Sunday, where U.S. and Mexican contingencies will meet for Mass.
