Flooded Street Rescue Made in Tijuana River Valley Late Saturday

San Diego Fire-Rescue and its lifeguards helped two people escape a flooded street at the end of Saturn Boulevard Saturday evening.

San Diego Fire-Rescue and its lifeguards helped two people whose car entered flood waters at Monument Road and Saturn Boulevard Saturday.

One person was able to get out of the car before it flooded while two other passengars were left in the water.

Once lifeguards arrived around 11:15 p.m to rescue the two people, one who had to cling to a tree, they were transported to the hospital.

This was the only significant rescue San Diego Fire-Rescue made Saturday, an official said.
