Assault with Deadly Weapon, TV Stolen from Big Kahuna Burger in Sheriff's Blotter

Two people were injured in an assault with a deadly weapon incident Sunday.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from Dec. 18-24. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

 

Dec. 24

7:05 p.m., residential burglary reported on Florence Street. Computer, bicycle and computer equipment worth an estimated $650


Dec. 23

1:16 a.m., vandalism of single family home reported on 7th Street, with an estimated $500 in damage reported

1:49 a.m., assault with a deadly weapon reported at the corner of Seacoast Drive and Palm Avenue. Victims reported severe laceration and other major injury

3:52 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported on California Street, with $500 in damage reported


Dec. 22

9:04 a.m., 28-year-old man arrested with felony bench warrant on Imperial Beach Boulevard


Dec. 21

3:30 p.m., 30-year-old man cited and released for possession of unlawful paraphernalia on 13th Street

Dec. 20

1:57 a.m., 21-year-old man arrested for carry a concealed dirk or dagger on Palm Avenue

9:43 a.m., commercial burglary reported at San Diego City Homes on Florida Street. Tools reported stolen worth an estimated $715

1:00 p.m., 45-year-old man and 41-year-old woman arrested for possession, use and being under the influence of narcotic controlled substances and possession of controlled substances without a prescription at the corner of 2nd Street and Daisy Avenue. 41-year-old woman also arrested for violation of parole

1:40 p.m., 38-year-old woman arrested for commercial burglary and pass completed check with attempt to defraud at 13th Street Market on 13th Street


Dec. 19

2:01 a.m., television stolen from Big Kahuna Burger on Palm Avenue. Television reported stolen worth an estimated $800

11:47 a.m., license plate reported stolen on Iris Avenue

2:53 p.m., petty theft reported on Ocean Lane. Power tools reported stolen worth an estimated $188

9:30 p.m., 43-year-old woman arrested with felony warrant on Elm Avenue

9:54 p.m., vandalism reported at 7-Eleven on Imperial Beach Boulevard, with an estimated $350 in damage to building

Dec. 18

12:02 a.m., 54-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence on Palm Avenue

9:15 a.m., 42-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances on Iris Avenue

10:05 a.m., 52-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances without a prescription and 36-year-old man for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and probation violation on Grove Avenue

1:19 p.m., attempt to commit fraud at 13th Street Market on 13th Street


Dec. 16

11:30 p.m., 37-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle with 0.01 percent or more blood alcohol level while on probation for DUI on 3rd Street


Dec. 15

2:57 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence, hit and run with property damage and driving with suspended or revoked license with prior DUI convictions on Elm Avenue
