String of Home Burglaries in Sheriff's Blotter

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from Oct. 8-14. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

Oct. 14

12:46 a.m., 53-year-old man arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 1100 block of Palm Avenue

5:25 p.m., 26-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 900 block of Seacoast Drive

Oct. 13

2:15 a.m., 37-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor bench warrant in the near the Palm Avenue and Ocean Lane intersection

7:40 a.m., 26-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 200 block of Ebony Avenue

Oct. 11

9:08 a.m., residential burglary reported in the 1400 block of 15th Street. Miscellaneous items reported stolen worth an estimated $300

9:43 p.m., 31-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 500 block of Spruce Avenue

11:35 p.m., 30-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 1000 block of 13th Street 

Oct. 10

8 a.m., 22-year-old cited and released for possession of tools with intent to vandalize in the 1300 block of Palm Avenue

9:21 a.m., vandalism reported in the 1400 block of 13th Street. Lock reportedly damaged or destroyed worth an estimated $100

2:17 p.m., identity theft cases reported in the 700 block of 3rd Street

8:44 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 300 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard. Television, furnitures and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $3,655

Oct. 9

9:37 a.m., residential burglary and vandalism reported in the 900 block of Florence Street. Windows reportedly damaged worth an estimated $100

10:20 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1300 block of Donax Avenue. Vehicle reportedly stolen and recovered worth an estimated $5,000

12:45 p.m., annoying, obscene or threatening phone call reported in the 1100 block of 14th Street

1:14 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 600 block of 13th Street. Computers, video games and jewelry reportedly stolen worth an estimated $3,650

4:49 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 600 block of 13th Street. Electronics, jewelry and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $2,823

Oct. 8

2 a.m., 65-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence and/or drugs in the 100 block of Palm Avenue

3:05 a.m., stolen vehicle recovered in the 900 block of 11th Street

5:19 a.m., 47-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs on Elm Avenue

3:16 p.m., 39-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 900 block of Palm Avenue

6:15 p.m., 55-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs on 5th Street. Actual offense took place on Imperial Beach Boulevard

9 p.m., 49-year-old man arrested for possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana in the 1400 block of Grove Avenue

11:17 p.m., 21-year-old man arrested for the transport, possession and possession for sale of controlled substances in the 800 block of 11th Street

8:45 a.m., 32-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances and possession of unlawful paraphernalia in the 800 block of 11th Street

Oct. 1

8:37 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 500 block of Dahlia Avenue. $20 in currency and watch, wallet and identification card $102

Sept. 6

9:50 p.m., 31-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence on Palm Avenue. Actual offense took place near Palm Avenue and Florida Street
