Alleged Shooting Victim Receives Psych Evaluation

No evidence was found of a shooting reported near Palm Avenue Thursday, the San Diego Police Department said.

Police responded to a report of a shooting on Palm Avenue around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, San Diego Police Department told NBC San Diego.

When officers arrived and spoke to the alleged victim a suspect description was offered but no evidence was found that a shooting occurred.

The person who reported the shooting was detained and received a psych evaluation, the news outlet said.
