4:10 p.m., petty theft reported in the 600 block of 10th Street. Portable music player reported stolen worth an estimated $500

Aug. 4

9:30 p.m., 19-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 500 block of Donax Avenue

Aug. 3

8:36 a.m., 40-year-old man arrested with warrant for petty theft near the corner of Delaware Street and State Route 75

Aug. 2

3:15 p.m., person whose identity has not been released taken into custody for disobeying a court order. Due to possible mental disorder released to county health officials

Aug. 1

7:43 p.m., 20-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the 1100 block of 13th Street

July 31

9:37 a.m., fraud to obtain money by false pretenses reported in the 500 block of 8th Street. $4,000 reported stolen

1:59 p.m., petty theft from motor vehicle reported in the 400 block of Palm Avenue. Sunglasses reported stolen worth an estimated $200

1:31 p.m., 48-year-old man arrested for manufacture, sale or possession of a Shobi-Zue. California Penal Code 17160 defines a Shobi-Zue as "a staff, crutch, stick, rod, or pole concealing a knife or blade within it, which may be exposed by a flip of the wrist or by a mechanical action."

2:42 p.m., grand theft from motor vehicle reported in the 400 block of 7th Street. Cash, wallet and electronics reported stolen worth an estimated $1,180

July 27

2:23 a.m., 21-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 1200 block of Palm Avenue

July 24

4:39 p.m., petty theft reported in the 500 block of Citrus Avenue. Two domestic pets reported stolen
