Sheriff's Blotter May 24-30; Truck with Guns Stolen, DUI Checkpoint Arrests

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department Imperial Beach Station reported the following arrests and crimes from May 24-30. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

Monday, May 30

No arrests were made

Sunday, May 29

10:03 p.m., 53-year-old man arrested for suspicion of being drunk in public on Date Avenue

7:53 p.m., minor arrested for suspicion of battery on a peace officer and suspicion of being drunk in public on Imperial Beach Boulevard

Saturday, May 28

12:28 a.m., 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license on 5th Street

Friday, May 27

9-2 a.m., four people were arrested on suspicion of DUI or driving with no valid license and seven cars were towed at a Sheriff operated DUI checkpoint at 9th Street and Palm Avenue

5:11 p.m., 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on Seacoast Drive

11:07 a.m., 51-year-old man arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and suspencion of being drunk in public on Palm Avenue

12:01 a.m., 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and a 23-year-old woman arrested under suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on Grove Avenue

Thursday, May 26

No arrests were made

Wednesda, May 25

7:21 a.m., a pickup truck allegedly containing six pistols, three rifles, two shotguns and ammunition was reported as stolen on Hickory Court

7:30 a.m., 23-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and a 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of probation violation on Holly Avenue

Tuesday, May 24

7:00 p.m., 45-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on 3rd Street
