Scheme to Defraud City of Imperial Beach, Addict with Stun Gun

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from Nov. 19-25. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

Nov. 25

9:25 a.m., vehicle vandalism and vehicle burglary in the 1300 block of Seacoast Drive. Miscellaneous tools reported stolen worth an estimated $1,395

Nov. 24

2:12 a.m., 42-year-old man arrested for missing manufacturers serial number on Stun Gun, felon in possession of a Stun Gun and narcotic addict in possession of a Stun Gun in the 1100 block of Elder Avenue

6:22 p.m., attempted murder reported in the 500 block of 11th Street

7:31 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported at apartment complex in the 700 block of Calla Avenue. Windows destroyed or damaged worth an estimated $300

Nov. 23

40-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public, consuming alcohol from an open container and remaining on public grounds after closing in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

10:10 a.m., possession of up to an ounce of marijuana in the 900 block of Cypress Avenue

11:51 p.m., 28-year-old man arrested for carrying a switchblade knife on person, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and a controlled substance in the 700 block of 13th Street

Nov. 22

3:37 p.m., vehicle theft reported in the 300 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard. Sedan reported stolen worth an estimated $25,000. Cell phone and portable music player also reported stolen worth an estimated $650

6:32 p.m., City of Imperial Beach report a scheme to defraud, deceive, or extort and the disruption or denial of computer services in the 800 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard

Nov. 21

1 a.m., 20-year-old man arrested with warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale in the 700 block of Calla Avenue

1:15 a.m., 19-year-old woman arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale in the 1200 block of Calla Avenue

6:24 a.m., vehicle burglary reported in the 1000 block of Elm Avenue. Electronics and audio equipment reported stolen worth an estimated $610

9:50 p.m., 36-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor warrant in the 200 block of Elm Avenue

11:17 p.m., grand theft from vehicle reported near the Seacoast Drive and Evergreen Avenue intersection. $1,200 in cash reported stolen. Bags, keys, checks and other items also reported stolen

12:47 a.m., circulation of unauthorized money reported at CVS in the 800 block of Palm Avenue

4:07 p.m., 43-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of 11th Street

5:25 p.m., 50-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public in the 900 block of Palm Avenue

7:09 p.m., 54-year-old man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, not firearm and threatening crime with intent to terrorize in the 500 block of Delaware Street

12:12 a.m., 38-year-old woman arrested with warrant for possession of a controlled substance in the 800 block of Palm Avenue

6:47 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1100 block of Seacoast Drive. Sedan reported stolen worth an estimated $10,000

1:41 p.m., two license plates reported stolen in the 500 block of Florida Street

6:05 p.m., petty theft from vehicle reported in the 1400 block of Holly Avenue. Bag, ring and electronic component reportedly found stolen an estimated $370

9:04 a.m., 46-year-old man arrested for residential burglary on Iris Avenue. Actual offense took place in the  1400 block of 14th Street

12:32 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1200 block of 14th Street. Rings, necklaces and bracelets reported stolen worth an estimated $9,900

4:30 p.m., 30-year-old man arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Paul Blanco's Good Car Company vehicle recovered worth an estimated $20,000

6:30 p.m., 39-year-old man arrested for transporting a controlled substance in the 800 block of Florida Street

11 p.m., 25-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 1100 block of Georgia Street. Marijuana found on person

2:53 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1100 block of Holly Avenue. Refrigerator reported stolen worth an estimated $1,700. Lawn mower, furniture and pictures reported stolen worth an estimated $240
