A man armed with a handgun robbed the Pizza Hut on Coronado Ave. near Imperial Beach Friday around 11:10 p.m., the San Diego Police Department said.
The robber demanded money from an employee then fled with the cash, police said. He was last seen running toward 18th Street. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as about 6 feet tall with a medium build, in
his 20s and black. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
