A robbery was reported at KFC on 13th Street at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to Sgt. William Uelan.
Wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun, a man demanded money in the cash register and from KFC employees. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
Employees were then told by the robber to get into the fast food establishment's freezer and told to wait 60 seconds before leaving, Uelan said.
The assailant is describe as an adult black male who was wearing a dark colored ski mask, dark gloves and a white, buttoned long sleeve shirt with a tie.
