Multiple Home Burglaries: Thousands in Jewelry, Video Games Listed as Stolen

When and where crimes were reported to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department Imperial Beach substation in the past week.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from March 26 to April 1. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

April 1

3:16 a.m., 21-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances and possession of unlawful paraphernalia near the corner of Seacoast Drive and Evergreen Avenue


March 31

3:15 a.m., 34-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Florida Street

4:00 a.m., 47-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Florence Street

11:48 a.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 100 block of Daisy Avenue

2:11 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1200 block of 14th Street. Video games and other electronics and items reported stolen worth an estimated $2,200

7:15 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 700 block of Encina Avenue. Jewelry worth an estimated $10,800 and television worth an estimated $1,000 reported stolen


March 30

11:45 a.m., 30-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances for sale and narcotic crime with prior convictions reported in the 1100 block of Elm Avenue. 18-year-old woman cited for possession of up to an ounce of marijuana

7:51 p.m., 47-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 800 block of Seacoast Drive


March 29

9:35 p.m., 49-year-old man arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia in the 500 block of Florence Street


March 28

7:30 a.m., 58-year-old woman arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia in the 300 block of Daisy Avenue

10:10 a.m., vandalism reported in the 1000 block of Palm Avenue. Windows destroyed worth an estimated $2,500

10:47 a.m., 51-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances and possession of unlawful paraphernalia

12:33 p.m., vehicle theft reported in the 400 block of 8th Street. Stolen vehicle worth an estimated $2,000


March 27

3:48 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 400 block of Carnation Avenue. Vehicle reportedly stolen worth an estimated $3,000

8:14 a.m., vehicle burglary reported in the 900 block of Calla Avenue. Miscellaneous items reported stolen worth an estimated $25

4:10 p.m., 19-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances in the 800 block of 9th Street


March 26

8:44 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 300 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard. Clothes, household goods, tools and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $5,730

11:38 p.m., 19-year-old woman arrested for vandalism and being drunk in public on 7th Street. Cell phone reportedly damaged worth an estimated $15

1:17 p.m., 31-year-old man arrested for battery with serious bodily injury in the 100 block of Palm Avenue

4:35 p.m., 38-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of 13th Street


March 23

4:40 p.m., 50-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence in the 900 block of Palm Avenue. 3 victims reported hit and run with property damage


March 22

11:51 a.m., vandalism reported in the 100 block of Ebony Avenue. Damage to household goods worth an estimated $150


March 2

12:38 a.m., 33-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence in the 1000 block of Palm Avenue
