A readiness conference has been rescheduled to April 9 for Richard Allen Perez, a domestic violence suspect who allegedly assaulted a deputy, then holed up inside a neighbor's Imperial Beach home for several hours before surrendering on June 21.
Perez was taken into custody following a nearly five-hour standoff. He is charged with several offenses including burglary, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, resisting executive officers and a parole violation, according to online jail records.
