Navy Credit Union Robbed; Second Time This Week
A Navy Federal Credit Union branch in the Southland Plaza Shopping Center was robbed for the second time this week Friday.

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery at the Navy Federal Credit Union, located at 555 Saturn Blvd.
On Monday a man who claimed to have a bomb robbed the same credit union, then led police on a high-speed chase to Chula Vista where he was taken into custody.

The latest robbery occurred around 4:45 p.m. Friday, according to FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth.
The robber waited in line until summoned by a teller, made a verbal demand for cash and, after receiving a sum of money, walked out of the bank, according to Foxworth, citing witnesses.

No injuries were reported.
Witnesses described the robber as male, white, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, of medium build with a black baseball cap, black long sleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sunglasses and a chain wallet, according to Foxworth.
