Man Found Stabbed Outside Gas Station on Palm Avenue

Police responding to reports of a fight early Saturday morning find a fatally wounded man. A suspect vehicle was last seen traveling west on Palm Avenue.

San Diego police are investigating the stabbing death of a man found outside a gas station in the 2200 block of Palm Avenue early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a fight near the gas station at 12:50 a.m. and found a 29-year-old man down on the sidewalk, according to Lt. Kevin Rooney. Paramedics attempted live-saving procedures but the man was pronounce dead at the scene.

The man may have been involved in a fight with the occupants of a tan, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima, that was last seen traveling westbound on Palm Avenue, according to Rooney. At least three males were seen in the car, Rooney said.
