Man Driving 'Full Force' Down Palm Avenue Offramp Killed in Crash
The driver was exiting southbound Interstate 805 when the crash occurred Monday morning.
A driver exiting southbound Interstate 805 onto Palm Avenue died Monday morning after crashing into a light pole, the California Highway Patrol said.
“When you come off a ramp, you’re supposed to slow down,” Lorie Williams, who said she witnessed the crash, told NBC San Diego. “He was going full force.”
The crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, and the driver died at the scene.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
