Man Allegedly Looked Up Dress of Shopper at Vons in Palm City

Authorities today sought the public's help to identify and locate the man who used some type of device to look up a woman's dress at a Palm City grocery store last week.

The woman was shopping at the Vons store at 665 Saturn Blvd. north of Palm Avenue about 4 p.m. on June 6 when the suspect approached her while she was distracted, according to San Diego police and Crime Stoppers.

The suspect crouched down and held a device—which could have been a cell phone—under the victim's dress, unbeknown to her, police said. A store employee who saw the incident informed the woman of what had happened.
