San Diego police put out a call Friday for people to be on the lookout for a missing 82-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease.
Jose Navarrete left his home in the 1200 block of Caminito Cita in Palm City, adjacent to Imperial Beach, around 1 p.m. Thursday to walk to his brother's residence in the Nestor neighborhood. He makes the trek on a daily basis, police said, but this time failed to arrive.
Navarrete is about 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hat, black jacket, jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call San Diego police at 619-531-2000.
