Home Burglaries Reported in Sheriff's Blotter
Two home burglaries were reported in the past week. In one incident more than $1,100 in music equipment was reported stolen. Check the sheriff's blotter every week to hear about crimes reported to and arrests made by the sheriff's department.

1:15 p.m., tampering with vehicle and grand theft from vehicle reported in the 800 block of Cypress Avenue. Automotive parts reported stolen worth an estimated $1,018

12:15 a.m., 27-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 900 block of Seacoast Drive
1:40 a.m., 34-year-old man arrested with flash incarceration near the Seacoast Drive and Elm Avenue intersection
3:10 a.m., 22-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 1300 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard
12:45 p.m., vandalism reported in the 1000 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard, with $200 in damage to wall
6:57 p.m., 29-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substance sin the 700 block of Calla Avenue
July 26
11:40 a.m., 31-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances near the Seacoast Drive and Daily Avenue intersection
3:19 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1300 block of California Street. Two guitars, amplifier and other music equipment reported stolen worth an estimated $1,120
July 25
1:13 a.m., 31-year-old man arrested with warrant for battery in the 200 block of Elder Avenue
7:15 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1400 block of 14th Street. Miscellaneous household goods reported stolen worth an estimated $1,100
July 24
12:46 p.m., 52-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 100 block of Palm Avenue
8:12 p.m., 52-year-old man cited and released for unlawful possession of a shopping or laundry cart in the 700 block of Palm Avenue
July 23
10:45 a.m., 61-year-old woman cited and released for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 800 block of Palm Avenue
5:58 p.m., 48-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public under the influence of alcohol or drugs near the corner of 10th Street and Palm Avenue

7:15 p.m., grand theft reported by A Revitalized Bath & Kitchen in the 1400 block of 15th Street. Paint supplies and tools reported stolen worth an estimated $1,500

11:02 p.m., 34-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 700 block of 7th Street
July 19
11:54 a.m., petty theft reported near the Seacoast Drive and Date Avenue intersection. Backpack, cash and forms of ID reported stolen worth an estimated $221
8:55 p.m., 61-year-old man arrested with flash incarceration in the 1400 block of 13th Street
July 17
8:03 a.m., petty theft and theft by use of debit or credit card reported in the 800 block of 13th Street. Check cashing card, ATM card and miscellaneous cash and papers reported stolen
4:01 p.m., battery on person and vehicle theft reported in the 200 block of Elm Avenue. Purse, forms of ID, credit cards and vehicle reported stolen worth an estimated $1,250
July 16
7:39 p.m., stolen vehicle recovered in the 1200 block of Granger Street. Vehicle reported stolen worth an estimated $5,000

11:23 p.m., 22-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence on Calla Avenue

8:01 p.m., 40-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence near the Elm Avenue and Ocean Lane intersection
June 12
3:48 p.m., 19-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence in the 100 block of Ebony Avenue
