The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from May 7-13. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

May 13

1:13 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 1000 block of Elder Avenue

5:36 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 1300 block of Hemlock Avenue

8:05 p.m., 51-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public and obstruction or resisting a peace officer or medical technician in the 600 block of Palm Avenue

May 12

12:50 a.m., 31-year-old man arrested for presenting false identification to an officer, possession of up to an ounce of marijuana, vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle on Elder Avenue. Actual offense took place in the 1000 block of Florida Street. Stolen car and other items recovered worth an estimated $11,220

2:42 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 800 block of 9th Street. Televisions, wallet and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $1,307

6:00 p.m., 29-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

6:48 p.m., stolen vehicle recovered in the 1100 block of 14th Street

7:20 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 900 block of 4th Street

May 11

1:52 a.m., multiple battery incidents reported in the 1100 block of 13th Street

4:38 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 600 block of Florence Street

5:49 p.m., 34-year-old man arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, probation violation and felon in possession of ammunition in the 100 block of Daisy Avenue. 35-year-old man also arrested for being a felon in possession of handgun and felon in possession of ammunition

May 10

1:00 a.m., 19-year-old man arrested for vehicle vandalism in the 1000 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard

5:41 p.m., use of fictitious check/bill/note reported in the 1200 block of 5th Street

7:14 p.m., 37-year-old man arrested for battery on person and being drunk in public in Adelfa Court 

10:40 p.m., 47-year-old man arrested with flash incarceration in the 1400 13th Street

May 9

1:45 a.m., 27-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances with a prior conviction, committing a felony on bail, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and unlawful display of registration in the 1200 block of Palm Avenue 

8:27 a.m., 35- and 25-year-old men arrested for possession of narcotic controlled substances, the use and being under the influence of controlled substances and possession of unlawful paraphernalia in the 300 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard

6:09 p.m., 52-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of 13th Street

8:45 p.m., 26-year-old man arrested with felony bench warrant in the 1200 block of 14th Street

11:20 p.m., 36-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 900 block of Seacoast Drive

11:50 p.m., 21-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

May 8

4:47 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 900 block of Palm Avenue. Car reported stolen worth an estimated $30,000

10:25 a.m., 58-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public near the corner of Palm Avenue and Delaware Street

11:38 p.m., 29-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle with 0.01 or more blood alcohol level while on probation for DUI in the 900 block of Georgia Street. 21-year-old man also arrested for being drunk in public

12:43 a.m., 39-year-old woman arrested for possession of controlled substances near the corner of Cherry Avenue and 11th Street

4:15 p.m., 24-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

May 3

7:15 p.m., 39-year-old man arrested for battery on person and being drunk in public in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue

April 15

10:15 p.m., 23-year-old woman arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and with warrant for robbery and damage of cable or power lines in the 1300 block of Hemlock Avenue. 25-year-old man also arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale
