Domestic Violence, Man Stabbed During Robbery in Sheriff's Blotter

3:10 a.m., 24- and 25-year-old men arrested for being drunk in public on Palm Avenue


March 10

1:04 a.m., shoplifting reported at CVS Pharmacy in the 800 block of Palm Avenue. Liquor reported stolen worth an estimated $25

1:23 a.m., 30-year-old man arrested for parole violation in the 900 block of Elm Avenue

4:05 a.m., 31-year-old man arrested for burglary, battery with serious bodily injury and vandalism in the 200 block of Donax Avenue. Victims suffered apparent broken bones and severe laceration. Items reported stolen worth an estimated $100

1:00 p.m., 52-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 600 block of 10th Street

4:43 p.m., shoplifting reported at CVS Pharmacy. Liquor reported stolen worth an estimated $30


March 9

12:01 a.m., 24-year-old man arrested for possession of narcotic controlled substance in the 1500 block of Seacoast Drive

5:19 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested for vandalism and driving under the influence near the corner of Palm Avenue and Corvina Street

9:40 p.m., battery on person reported in the 1000 block of Florence Street


March 8

8:32 a.m., petty theft reported at Carl's Jr. in the 700 block of 13th Street. Fuel reported stolen worth an estimated $150

12:00 p.m., 19-year-old woman arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism in the 800 block of Calla Avenue. Arrest occurred on H Street in Chula Vista. Damage to car window and vehicle worth an estimated $500

3:15 p.m., shoplifting reported at Wally's Marketplace in the 800 block of Palm Avenue. Food reported stolen worth an estimated $100

6:45 p.m., petty theft reported in the 1100 block of 13th Street. Purse, wallet and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $920


March 7

9:00 a.m., 65-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of 13th Street

3:58 p.m., attempt to defraud with insufficient funds reported in the 1100 block of Holly Avenue

4:50 p.m., petty theft from vehicle reported in the 200 block of Ebony Avenue. Ring, book, sunglasses and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $504


March 6

3:13 p.m., vehicle burglary reported in the 500 block of Delaware Street. Miscellaneous items reported stolen worth an estimated $75


March 5

9:50 a.m., 27-year-old man arrested with warrant for multiple counts of violating domestic violence court order and assault with a deadly weapon near the corner of Imperial Beach Boulevard and Florida Street

6:07 p.m., 23-year-old man arrested for obstructing the use of a wireless communication device in the 1300 block of Hemlock Avenue

7:24 a.m., 53- and 25-year-old men and 46-year-old woman cited and released for trespassing at AM/PM in the 1200 block of Palm Avenue

9:00 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested for failure to provide ID and vehicle data at an accident and hit and run with property damage on Hilger Street in San Diego
