Boat Motor Stolen, Assault in Sheriff's Blotter

April 29

1:40 a.m., 35-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances for sale and transporting controlled substances near the corner of Palm Avenue and Corvina Street

10:49 a.m., 43-year-old woman arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and with warrant for violating written promise to appear in court, being under the influence of controlled substances and possession of controlled substances unlawful paraphernalia in the 600 block of Palm Avenue


April 28

11:58 a.m., assault with a deadly weapon reported near the corner of Elm Avenue and Ocean Lane. Victim suffered severe laceration

10:15 p.m., 27-year-old woman arrested for the use, being under the influence and possession of controlled substances and possession of unlawful paraphernalia in the 1200 block of 14th Street. 38-year-old man also arrested for parole violation and the use and being under the influence of controlled substances


April 27

4:19 a.m., 34-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 100 block of Evergreen Avenue

10:25 a.m., 18-year-old man cited for vandalism near Holly and Grove avenues with an estimated $75 in damage to City of Imperial Beach property

2:05 p.m., theft by use of access card information reported in the 500 block of 9th Street

3:49 p.m., 26-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor warrant in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

4:45 p.m., 54-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 1000 block of Seacoast Drive

4:51 p.m., 37-year-old woman arrested for petty theft in the 600 block of Elm Avenue. $312 in currency reported stolen

10:28 p.m., battery on person reported at VFW Post 5477 at 123 Palm Avenue

April 26

12:01 a.m., 21-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public outside The Scoreboard Sports Bar at 951 Palm Ave.

10:08 a.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 1000 block of Ocean Lane

10:50 a.m., 48-year-old woman cited and released for unlawful display of registration and expired registration in the 1300 block of Fern Avenue

11:36 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 400 block of 7th Street. Vehicle reported stolen worth an estimated $4,000

12:57 p.m., vandalism reported in the 700 block of Calla Avenue. Miscellaneous damage reported worth an estimated $75

2:05 p.m., license plate reported stolen in the 1200 block of Georgia Street

4:43 p.m., 41-year-old woman arrested for possession of controlled substances and unlawful paraphernalia, unlawful display of vehicle registration and driving while license suspended or revoked in the 700 block of Emory Street. 34-year-old woman also arrested for possession of controlled substances and with felony warrant for possession of controlled substances and probation violation

5:35 p.m., impersonate to get money or property reported in the 1100 block of Louden Lane. $993 in currency reported stolen


April 25

4:29 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1100 block of 14th Street

8:00 a.m., 62-year-old man cited and released for possession of Vons shopping cart in the 700 block of Elm Avenue

6:29 p.m., petty theft reported in the 1300 block of Seacoast Drive. Cell phone and other goods reported stolen worth an estimated $500

7:30 p.m., petty theft reported on Evergreen Avenue. Backpack and prescription drugs reported stolen worth an estimated $25

7:45 p.m., 26-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public and with warrant for driving under the influence in the 1300 block of Palm Avenue


April 24

7:40 a.m., 22-year-old man arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances on the Imperial Beach Pier

11:17 a.m., 19-year-old woman cited and released for expired registration and driving with a suspended or revoked license near the corner of Imperial Beach Boulevard and East Lane

11:45 a.m., 21-year-old man cited and released for possession of CVS shopping cart near the corner of Imperial Beach Boulevard and Connecticut Street

12:50 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 500 block of 7th Street

3:42 p.m., 47-year-old woman arrested with flash incarceration in the 1400 block of 13th Street

April 23

6:00 p.m., 27-year-old woman arrested with felony warrant for receiving known stolen property worth more than $400 in the 1000 block of Calla Avenue

7:39 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 1000 block of Seacoast Drive
