Battery With Serious Bodily Injury Reported in Sheriff's Blotter

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from Sept. 3-9. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

Sept. 8

2:13 a.m., 28-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public near the Calla Avenue and Florence Street intersection

3:48 a.m., battery with serious bodily injury reported in the 400 block of Cherry Avenue

Sept. 7

10:22 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 400 block of Palm Avenue. Sedan reported stolen worth an estimated $4,000

3:25 p.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1400 block of Donax Avenue. Motorcycle reported stolen worth an estimated $20,000

6:39 p.m., 35-year-old man arrested for possession of controlled substances in the 600 block of Grove Avenue. 25-year-old woman also arrested with misdemeanor warrant

9:09 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor warrant on Palm Avenue in San Diego

10:15 p.m., 32-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 600 block of Elm Avenue

Sept. 6

12:22 a.m., 40-year-old man arrested for possession of narcotic controlled substances in the 800 block of Palm Avenue

6:19 a.m., 55-year-old man cited and released for disobeying a court order in the 1200 block of Loudon Lane

8:04 a.m., petty theft and theft by use of access card information reported in the 500 block of 11th Street. Wallet worth an estimated $20, three credit cards, ID and military ID reported stolen

Sept. 5

7:40 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 500 block of 11th Street. Motorcycle reported stolen worth an estimated $5,000

1:45 p.m., 58-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public on Evergreen Avenue

Sept. 4

9:50 a.m., 43-year-old woman arrested for being drunk in public in the 700 block of Seacoast Drive

1:43 p.m., 53-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public and parole violation on Florence Street

6:58 p.m., 25-year-old man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, not firearm on Seacoast Drive. Actual offense took place in the 200 block of Date Avenue

Sept. 3

8:44 a.m., vandalism reported in the 500 block of Emory Street with an estimated $100 in damage to single family structure and $50 in damage to miscellaneous household goods

7:09 p.m., grand theft from building reported in the 1400 block of Holly Avenue. Jewelry reported stolen worth an estimated $8,200. $220 cash also reported stolen

2:04 p.m., grand theft from building reported in the 1400 block of Holly Avenue. Computer, ring and cash reported stolen worth an estimated $3,820

4:50 p.m., vehicle burglary and vehicle vandalism reported by EAN Holdings, LLC in the 200 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard. Damage to the vehicle worth an estimated $400. Communication equipment reported stolen worth an estimated $200

7:58 p.m., simple battery reported in the 600 block of Palm Avenue

Aug. 31

1:45 a.m., 24-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 1100 block of Loudon Lane

2:03 p.m., 55-year-old man arrested for the harm or death of an elder or dependent adult in the 1200 block of Loudon Lane

6:03 p.m., identity theft case reported in the 900 block of Florida Street

Aug. 30

12:01 p.m., 46-year-old man arrested for possession of narcotic controlled substances in an alley near the 1000 block of Emory Street

Aug. 29

12:04 p.m., 22-year-old man arrested for possession of narcotic controlled substances, controlled substances for sale and unlawful paraphernalia in the 600 block of 11th Street. 20-year-old man also arrested for possession of controlled substances and unlawful paraphernalia 

7:14 p.m., residential burglary reported in 500 block of 11th Street. Pictures, video games, computer, camera reported stolen worth an estimated $1,585. $1,000 cash also reported stolen  

Aug. 28

2:40 p.m., 60-year-old man cited and released for driving without a valid driver's license near the Palm Avenue and Carolina Street intersection

Aug. 19

8:40 p.m., 58-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor bench warrant and for possession of controlled substances in the 500 block of Donax Avenue. 46-year-old man also arrested for the use and being under the influence of controlled substances and the possession of unlawful paraphernalia

June 15

1:15 a.m., 27-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 100 block of Palm Avenue
