TVs Stolen from High School Before Spring Break in Sheriff's Blotter

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from March 19-25. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

 

March 23

7:54 a.m., license plate reported stolen in the 700 block of Holly Avenue

11:13 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 300 block of Palm Avenue. Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle reported stolen worth an estimated $5,000

5:35 p.m., 22-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 900 block of Ocean Lane

10:35 p.m., 21-year-old man cited for driving while license suspended or revoked and possession of one ounce or less of marijuana while driving in the 100 block of Elm Avenue


March 22

10:50 a.m., 35-year-old man arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and controlled substances and person prohibited from possession of firearm ammunition in the 600 block of Grove Avenue

6:45 p.m., 21-year-old man arrested for being under the influence of controlled substances in the 1100 block of 13th Street


March 21

8:39 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1100 block of Grove Avenue. Vehicle reported stolen worth an estimated $6,000


March 20

11:24 a.m., 62-year-old man cited for possession of up to an ounce of marijuana in the 1100 block of East Lane

1:01 p.m., 52-year-old man arrested for assault with semiautomatic firearm and flash incarceration near the corner of Daisy Avenue and 2nd Street

6:25 p.m, 42-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence in the 200 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard

6:53 p.m., vehicle theft reported in the 300 block of Palm Avenue. Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle reported stolen worth an estimated $8,000

7:28 p.m., 22-year-old woman arrested for vandalism reported during family disturbance in the 1400 block of East Lane. Damage to single family home worth an estimated $5

9:00 p.m., 24-year-old man arrested with warrant in the 1000 block of Calla Avenue

7:11 a.m., 45-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public in the 800 block of Corvina Street

11:37 a.m., identity theft case reported in the 700 block of Donax Avenue

March 18

10:44 a.m., commercial burglary reported at Mar Vista High School in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. The school started spring break March 18. Three televisions and electronic components reported stolen worth an estimated $1,422

3:44 p.m., petty theft from vehicle reported in the 500 block of Emory Street. Knife, flashlight and bag reported stolen worth an estimated $720

March 17

2:00 a.m., two 23-year-old men arrested for being drunk in public in the 900 block of Palm Avenue


March 16

1:48 a.m., 30-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence, driving with suspended or revoked license prior to DUI conviction and operating a motor vehicle with 0.01 percent or more blood alcohol level while on probation for DUI near the corner of Fern Avenue and 14th Street

1:47 p.m., vandalism to four vehicles reported in the 1000 block of Elm Avenue


March 13

11:12 p.m., 18-year-old man arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis, failure to drive vehicle with two headlights on during darkness and driving without valid driver's license near the corner of Connecticut Street and Imperial Beach Boulevard


March 7

3:58 p.m., willful intent to defraud reported in the 1100 block of Holly Avenue


Jan. 19

6:07 p.m., hit and run resulting in death or injury reported near the corner of Palm Avenue and 7th Street
