Around 7:30 a.m., at least three men and a woman knocked on the victim’s door, said sheriff’s Sgt. Ted Greenwald.

When she answered the door, she was punched in the face, covered with a blanket and told to tell the robbers where she kept her valuables, he said.

“After ransacking the apartment, the suspects took various items of electronic equipment, clothing, jewelry, and small furnishings,” said a sheriff’s department statement.

Two vehicles thought to be involved in the robbery were traced to the Nestor area, and one car was seen pulling out from a drive on Walpen Drive off Coronado Avenue.

One man was able to evade authorities and get away.

After a search warrant was obtained, two 17-year-olds were arrested at the residence, the Sheriff’s Department said.

There most of the victim’s property was recovered, authorities said.
