The Chula Vista Charitable Foundation Invites Nonprofits to Apply for 2014 Grants The Foundation will accept Health and Human Service proposals related to Building Community Leadership

The Chula Vista Charitable Foundation (CVCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, has released its 2014 Letter of Intent guidelines. The foundation is in its fourth grant cycle and invites nonprofits serving Chula Vista to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to express interest in applying for 2014-2015 grants. The foundation will be accepting LOI’s for projects that build community leadership and involvement, while meeting a timely Health and Human Service need.

The Letter of Intent (LOI) is the first step in a two-step application process which will facilitate the allocation of up to $35,000 in funding for Chula Vista-centered projects. The foundation will evaluate all LOI submittals and qualify those that meet the program and eligibility criteria. Organizations that are short-listed through the LOI process will be invited to submit a full application. The deadline for submitting the LOI is Monday, October 21 at 5:00 p.m.
