Poll: Time to Consider Gun Control in Wake of Batman Theater Massacre?

Killing spree in Colorado not far from Columbine may trigger renewed debate on gun culture, laws.

San Diego woke up Friday morning to horrific news out of Aurora, CO, about the killings of 12 people at a theater showing the new Batman movie—and a local woman's claim that she is the mother of the suspected shooter. With Columbine not far from the massacre site, gun-control advocates and opponents will renew their debate. Does the latest violence make you rethink how easily people can acquire firearms?

Well Cyrus, that quote confirms that Alinsky was never a Marxist, and makes liars of Gingrich, Beck and Limbaugh. Unfortunately their loyal minions will keep repeating the false association between Alinsky, Obama and Marxism. They will also keep repeating the Lucifer dedication story although it was not in the dedication.

Well it wasn't in the dedication, was it. There is a dedication, buts its to the people that helped him. The expression "over the shoulder' means that the acknowledgement was a grudging one and only related to one aspect of Lucifer's behavior.

Other than being in the right place at exactly the right time, there is neither a law nor a law enforcement agency that can prevent such crimes from occurring. Makes one wonder, however, if Colorado law allowed for concealed and/or open carry of firearms -- whether Holmes would have had the courage to enter that theater allowing that there was a distinct possibility that several armed people were among the movie-goers. Just a thought . . .

Ooops (red face here) Sorry Kevin. Wasn't trying to steal your thunder. Failed to read all posts. Shame on me.

There, you understand, and you gave credit to Hitler. Doesn't make you all bad.
