Another - Nice Day to Not Speed in IB

At it again today - it's another nice day to not speed in IB -
Over a dozen motorists have been seen this morning with this motorcycle's red & blue lights flashing behind them.

Have a nice day!

Interesting, considering how reckless and fast I see cops driving through the streets of IB everyday--with or without their sirens on, and often in the presence of children/pedestrians.

they blow thru the 4way stop at Seacoast &IB Blvd like it wasn't there. when my wife called to make an anonymous complaint, she was told she couldn't make an anonymous complaint, & that the Sheriff's Department was exempt from traffic laws.

EXEMPT from traffic laws? Seriously?!?!?

So why is are you all so upset because the deputies are doing their job. They need to do a lot more--nabbing people who run stop signs, red lights, bikes going the wrong way, on sidewalks with no regard for traffic laws and nearly all of them are adults. And I will agree the cops do disregard traffic laws, too.

Mary Vollrath --- perhaps I can shed some light on this for you --- you see, the Sheriffs are always available to write seat belt, cell phone, speeding, and registration tickets yet seem to be conspicuously absent whenever something serious happens in town --- as an example I don't think Barney & the boys ever did find out who nearly killed that man running from the beach in the open at night when the streets were deserted while he was screaming for help --- but that's OK isn't it --- can't be everywhere at once can they ...

Was the Sheriffs Dept aware of this incident--did you call them?

Mary --- that's funny --- I read about it here after Barney & the Boys asked for help in finding the attackers --- seems they somehow missed the gang at the beach on a Saturday night selling drugs ...
