Let State BOE know IB supports Trustee Areas before May meeting!

The State Board of Ed will be considering whether or not to approve the waiver of public election at their May meeting, IB's residents have wanted this change forever, it would mean real representation on Sweetwater Board. NIf waiver is not approved, it would take until 2018 elections for it to be considered. PLEASE LET YOUR SUPPORT BE KNOW TO THE Mayor of IB Jim Janney and the San Diego County Board of Education, and the State Board of Education. Write, Call, and EMAIL. DO NOT WAIT. Ed Brand and Jim Cartmill are trying to get move against this change and against the State approving the waiver.
