EXUSMED™, a corporation offering affordable mobile health care solutions for both patients and providers announced today that Allison Royland has joined the corporation’s Advisory Council.
Royland, founder and CEO of Bravura Business Consulting, has comprehensive business process consulting experience with her most recent project work being with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Currently, Royland is assisting businesses in mapping out processes and underwriting loans. Royland has utilized her understanding of technical business practices to develop processes for organizations that make work flows transparent, standard and efficient. Along with Royland’s assistance, the SBA moved the Citrus Heights Processing Center in California to SBA headquarters in D.C. and was able to change the flow of the lender review and renewal process to make it more efficient. Allison received her Bachelor’s from Texas State University McCoy School of Business.
“Allison’s expertise is a huge asset to the EXUSMED team,” said A. Latham Staples, EXUSMED president and CEO. “She has done some outstanding work with the U.S. Small Business Administration and I look forward to EXUSMED benefitting from all the experience she brings to the table. We are very fortunate to have her.”
“EXUSMED has created a revolutionary mobile health care system that allows those who are underprivileged or generally unable to access cost effective personal health care services to do so,” said Royland. “EXUSMED has the right tools and technology platform to allow patients and members to have multiple options and access to provider and medication resources which empowers them to make personal choices and improve their outlook on health care.”
A pilot program, launching in early 2014 will have more than 800 participating physicians providing care to approximately 1,500 patients throughout Southern California. EXUSMED's programs, available to consumers in the summer of 2014 will provide improved outpatient continuity-of-care with the patient's own health care provider through on-demand, real-time mobile health care technology encounters. This will allow for more convenient and flexible care, decreasing wait room times and accelerating diagnosis and treatment.
