What do you think about full coverage video at the beach?
Should all the video feeds be streamed public as a public record ? If public money pays for the cameras...then the resulting video stream should be available free of charge to the public. The same should be true for the camera in Council Chambers. That camera and supporting equipment were purchased with public money and giving a monopoly to Cox Cable without making the video stream available in real time or "on demand" is obstruction of the public record.
I'm not against cameras on the beach as it will likely deter many serious crimes or at least give the tools to prosecute serious crimes on the beach.
