A South County Treasure Closes.

The Chula Vista Nature Center (now named Living Coast Discovery Center) is closing due to lack of funding. This is not directly related to the federal shutdown. They just do not have the continuing support need to stay viable. The Center is a great place for all age visitors to get up close and personal with indigenous wildlife. It is a real shame to lose such an asset in our South Bay community.
