The San Diego Police Department were called to Hollister Gas around 1:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Lt. Kevin Mayer with the San Diego Police Department.
"It appears that the vehicle pulled over into the Hollister Gas station and a domestic dispute took place where witnesses saw the female punch the male in the nose and she took off," Mayer said. "An officer pulled up and there were reports that the officer saw her on the bridge and she ultimately jumped off and died as a result of her injuries."
It appears Lutau was the aggressor in the domestic dispute, Mayer said, but was unable to offer any additional information about Lutau or the 23-year-old man who was part of the incident.
Lutau's death was deemed a suicide by the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
