Donald Siegfried Dies at 83; 59-Year Resident of IB Worked Outdoors
He spent three decades with San Diego County in the Parks and Recreation Department.
Donald Siegfried—who worked for county parks and recreation for 30 years—died March 23, according to a U-T San Diego obituary.
He was four days short of 84 years old.
Siegfried, a 59-year resident of Imperial Beach, passed away peacefully at home and was surrounded by family and his faithful dog Trooper, U-T San Diego said.

Funeral services have been held. He was laid to rest at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside alongside his wife, Betty.
