IB City Council to Vote on Medical Marijuana Ordinance

At the July 18 meeting, Brown will be presenting to Council a report on how to . . . suppress and delay the will of Imperial Beach Voters.

On July 18, the will be voting on the Safe Access Ordinance of Imperial Beach, a signature petition qualified for the ballot by the voters of IB to repeal the City's current ban on safe access to medical marijuana and replace it with reasonable controls and regulations.

Even though by law, the initiative has qualified and must be placed on the ballot, Gary Brown, the has indicated he would look for every means possible to delay the ordinance from being placed on the November ballot.

At the July 18 meeting Brown will be presenting to council a report on how to do just that; suppress and delay the will of Imperial Beach voters.

If you want the people's voice heard this November, then come out to the City Council meeting and ask the Council to place it on the November 2012 ballot rather then pushing it off to another election.
