AT&T Makes a Splash at Loews Surf Dog Competition

The Loews Coronado Bay Surf Dog Competition unleashed the excitement on June 22 with furry friends seeking fun at the beach. AT&T participated in the event with a family splash park, the “AT&T Splash Park,” where kids and pups ran and played in a bunch of set-up sprinklers and bubble machines.  AT&T employees showcased the newest waterproof and water-resistant products and gave goodies to event attendees, including doggie t-shirts, beach balls, towels, and “No Text on Board” stickers to promote AT&T’s national campaign to educate on the dangers texting and driving.

Now in its eighth year, this popular canine competition is an extension of Loews Hotels & Resorts award-winning Loews Loves Pets program and has become a hugely successful fundraiser for non-profit organizations.

Families, friends and dogs of all ages enjoyed a fun-filled day at Imperial Beach Pier. For the second consecutive year, the event benefited the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). The ASPCA® is the first humane organization established and is a national leader in the areas of anti-cruelty, community outreach and animal health services.
