Coming to DVD from Hasbro Studios and SHOUT! Factory Kids comes the next installment in the puppy series with POUND PUPPIES – MISSION: ADOPTION.

This DVD tells the story of Lucky, Cookie, Niblet, Strudel and Squirt or as everyone else knows them as the Pound Puppies. In this story it has become their motto that there is a pup for each person.

The Pound Puppies don’t take no for an answer as their mission begins!

FINAL WORD: Anyone who remembers Pound Puppies in 1986 will remember fondly those loveable pups and their adventures. I remember well my kids watching the series and loving each adventure.

In 2010 THE HUB released the new POUND PUPPIES franchise and it is still running! Hasbro released a line of very cute toys for fans of the series. Pound Puppies has also won the CINE GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD and HUMANITAS PRIZE both for amazing story telling and excellence in writing children’s television animation.

Hasbro Studios has developed other series that are iconic with TRANSFORMERS, MY LITTLE PONY and LITTLEST PET SHOP. These shows can be found on The Hub network for kids and families.

SHOUT! Factory has such amazing dvd’s to offer with feature films, classic television series, animation and music. With their Grammy nominated sets it is worth the look at what else they have to offer fans at www.shoutfactory.com.

TUBS OF POPCORN: I give POUND PUPPIES – MISSION: ADOPTION four tubs of popcorn out of five. It is such a joy to be able to introduce to my grandchildren the stories that this series teaches younger children.

It is fun, funny, animated in such a beautiful way. The DVD episodes include: “King of the Heap”, “Taboo”, “Snow Problem”, Zipper the Zoomit Dog”, and “There’s Something About Camelia”. One of the really fun extras is the ability to obtain a printable adoption certificate that children will love.

In the end – sometimes dogs are their own best friends!
