Keeping the South Bay beautiful with art

Busy as always, "The Art Kids of San Diego County," are painting in public places to keeps the South Bay area beautiful with art. You can see their work at the Chula Vista Superior Court where during the week of July 21st they will be placing some of their art on the court house walls. This exhibition will last for six weeks and show the talents of young artists from around the South Bay.
They are presently finishing seven utility boxes on the corner of Adams Ave and Felton in the Citrus Heights area. 
August you may see their efforts at the annual Chula Vista Pow-Wow Saturday and Sunday the 2nd and the third of August at the Park on Marina Parkway at the Chula Vista Marina off on "J" Street.
One can go by the Imperial Beach Fire Department and see the results of this year's demolition derby when the car that The Kids painted by hand won the entire event this year at the fair. A piece of art it may have been but now is a painted sculpture.
Yes, The Art Kids are still extremely active and doing well as they are now painting Tikis to help support the historical Schooner,"Bill of Rights," the 137 foot schooner docked at the Chula Vista Marina. They are also producing ink drawings of the,"Bill of Rights," for sale to benefit the boat and help keep its appearance at tip top shape. 
Last for August, The Kids will be participating for the four days at the Tall Ships event down by the Maritime Museum. There they will be face and body painting, doing Henna, making people look like pirates with tattoos. Selling their art and creating new art while at the event.
