Underwater Fantasy New 45-Foot Mural Ready for Summertime at Bibbey's Shell Shop

Description of the new 45-foot mural being done at Bibbey's Shell Shop for the summer time festivities.

located at 903 Seacoast Dr. in Imperial Beach is getting their building ready for the summer season.

Their 45' x 10' foot south wall is being painted with an Underwater Fantasy theme.

The Art Kids of San Diego County (TAKOSDC) have painted the background and are now placing underwater fantasy creatures within the mural.

The photo shows the latest addition done by the newest member and addition to TAKOSDC. She is 26-year-old Bri Atterberry of Oklahoma.

She and her husband have moved out here as he is in the Navy and stationed in San Diego. Bri will be working with the younger students as an instructor because she is an incredible artist and an even better art teacher.

The mural is just one project that she will be working on when she is not instructing the kids of TAKOSDC. An example of her work can be seen in the photo that accompanies this article. TAKOSDC are known for their beautification of the South Bay with the various projects they participate in.

The entire mural will be filled with fantasy people and creatures. The main one will be Neptune riding in his chariot being pulled by dolphins. The project should be done by the May 19, just in time for the summer season to begin.
