A cool breeze was coming off the bay in Chula Vista for an evening of music and visual art Friday. The event was one of the many that the Port of San Diego is sponsoring in the South Bay. Wandering through incredible pieces of art while listening to music were many South Bay residence. Looking at the work of local artists and enjoying the myriad of conversations, art lovers were attracted to the evening's offerings.

Food, music and art is a hard combination to compete with and by the number of participants the event was indeed successful. Among the visual arts were paintings, pen and ink, quilts, photography, carvings and sculptures. All positioned to tempt visitors to purchase these items of beauty.

The event started at 5 p.m. and lasted until 10 p.m.
