Art Kids Paint Faces and Arms at Imperial Beach Fire Department Open House

"Teddy Bear Rescue," informative help from community groups and face painting at the Imperial Beach Fire Department Open House.

From 10:00 a.m. til a little past 2:00 p.m. the Imperial Beach Fire Department had a very successful open house. State Farm was there handing out information and mini-fire trucks, Scripps was handing out information about strokes, the sheriff's department was there with information as was the burn information group.

There were a myriad of groups being represented and all were important to the open house as their information was important to those who attended.

The younger crowd were treated to some first class face and arm painting by The Art Kids of San Diego County, back in town to help the fire department's open house.

The kids will always be there for the fire department because they always do so much for everyone.

The fire department is the backbone of the community and should always be supported year-round. One of the projects The Art Kids is doing is a painting of a fire fighter rescuing a little girl and her teddy bear.
