Kids in California’s most southwestern city are invited to Portwood Pier Plaza Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. for hot chocolate, cookies and some of Santa’s time for Christmas Comes to IB.
Santa Claus will get a ride from the Imperial Beach Fire Department and arrive at noon, ready to take gift requests.
There will also be raffle prizes, arts and crafts, booths, live music and more.

The annual event, which is sponsored by more than 50 local businesses and donors, will end with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Pier Plaza.
