South Bay Salt Pond Tours: guided nature walks by the San Diego Audubon Society

Come see birds and other wildlife in the salt ponds of the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge, managed by the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Learn about the history of salt production and the plans for restoration of the refuge.

Please park in the dirt lot at the entrance to South Bay Salt Works, 1470 Bay Blvd., Chula Vista, and wait for the San Diego Audubon docents.

There are no restrooms. Recent rain cancels walks.
