Could be all wrong

I think it’s overrated

Never able to just kick back

Can’t talk

Can’t think

Because of a wink

Now you are elated?

Not good!

How long do fireworks

Explode

Excitement, I agree

But a mellow lake

A dream to share

Pouring your heart out

Showing you care

In a smile

This chemistry thing

You got it all wrong

Like losing romance

In a metal song

Yeh it’s a blast but now it’s gone

And  a walk in the park

Lingers on with a gentle kiss good night
