I do not know anything about the happenings in IB last weekend but this is just my perspective as a mom.

Someone's Child

In an alley, close to home

No one knows

Why you’re lying there

I hear you were troubled

I hear you were wild

I can’t judge

You won’t budge

Lying there

You’re someone’s child

You’re someone’s angel that

They tucked in

Held your hand

Wiped your chin

When rain drops fell

They took you in

You’re someone’s child

In an alley on the ground

All alone they shot you down

Who were they?

Will they be found?

Someone else’s child?
