Man Child
This poem is about my son, Scott. Scott is 37 years old, a child in some ways but in other ways, well beyond his years. So happy God blessed me with Scott Wilcox!!!!
Many of you know and love, Scott. I wrote this poem about a year ago. Scott has helped me through a very difficult time. I love his passion for life.

And change
And all that’s strange
Until the plan
Has been explained and
He understands
Birthdays, anniversaries and deaths
Of family and friends
Tell him once he’ll remember
When the day comes up again
Sensitive of feelings
But doesn’t understand
How a smile can be a tear
And once in awhile a laugh
Is not sincere
Man Child, loves music and friends
Loves to share
Every part of his life
Holds memories dear
Wants all to care
With passion and with strife.
Missing Dad
The fun we had
He’s always in our heart
3 Musketeers until the end
Man Child, my son, my friend
Hurricane, , breath of fresh air
Man Child who’s waiting there
And wanting to understand
