Starting all over at 65

Learning the facts of Life again

Time has changed

Strange

Where do we go from here?

Flipping through pages

Of “Peace” and “Rages”

Finding our way through different

Stages

Mellow, Metal, Rap, the blues

Keeping up what a snooze

With Life, Pot or Booze?

Way of life has gone away

Memories of a different day

Thinking young but can’t comprehend

That nothing’s like it was back then

And won’t be ever again

It sorta feels like 21

With years behind you, some were fun

And some not so much

65, walker? cane?

They look at us like we’re insane

I think they’re right…..
