Nestor Open House

Community gathering at Nestor UMC

Nestor United Methodist Church (Nestor UMC) hosts an open
house from 9:30am to 11:00 am Sunday, October 13, 2013.  This will give the South Bay region an
opportunity to experience the varied programs and opportunities available to
them at Nestor UMC. 

Visitors may ask members about their various activities.  They may also share ideas about how the
church may be able to support them and the community.  Join us Sunday’s for worship at 8:30am and
11:00 am.

Pastor Luis Garcia, their newly appointed minister says, “The
South Bay region is a growing and vital community and Nestor wants to be an
active player and participant in that growth. 
We look forward to this opportunity to expand our ability to serve the
area, and to extend a hand of friendship to those living in the South Bay.”

Pastor Garcia also hopes the open house will bring a greater
awareness of the opportunities in the South Bay region for Nestor as a good
neighbor, actively involved in the community and also a meaningful place to
gather together.

Nestor UMC has served the area over 100 years.  It now looks to the future for how it may
better aide and assist its community beyond their current worship services and
outreach programs.
