Temps Cool as the Sun Has to Fight Through the Fog

Foggy conditions will linger through next week.

The sunny weather that brought unseasonably high temperatures to the coast earlier in the week is gone. A dense fog advisory was issued on Friday by the National Weather Service through 10 a.m. Saturday morning, with patchy fog expected for the next several days. The weekend forecast for Imperial Beach according to the National Weather Service:

Saturday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 59. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 58. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.
